Here are some some key insights and practical takeaways from our exploration:
The Old vs. New Paradigm of Goals
The old question "What do I want?" is limited because we make choices based on who we think we are
The new question becomes "What is life seeking to express through me?"
Most amazing things in life happen not through rigid planning, but through following our intuition and deeper sense
Understanding Our Natural State
Surrender isn't something foreign to learn - it's actually our natural state
What feels "normal" to us (our conditioning) is actually what's unnatural
What we think is "just who I am" is often just conditioning
The Journey of Surrender:
Surrender isn't about giving up – it's about moving through distinct phases that each serve our evolution:
Negotiation: Recognising how we bargain with our patterns
Acceptance: Embracing what is truly present
Grieving: Allowing ourselves to feel and release
Surrender: Opening to life's intelligence
Transformation: What emerges from surrender: unexpected possibilities appear
Practical Tools for Your Journey:
Truth vs. Conditioning Check-in.
Ask yourself daily:
Does this feel expansive or contractive?
Is this my truth or am I moving based on my conditioning?
When did I first learn this behaviour?
2. The Surrender Practice
When facing decisions or challenges:
What is life trying to express through me?
What would I do if I trusted life completely?
What am I holding onto that's ready to be released?
3. Soul Setting vs. Goal Setting
Before setting goals, pause to inquire:
Is this aligned with my deeper knowing?
Am I chasing this from fear or flowing from truth?
What would this look like if I released control of the 'how'?
Remember: All this work - the surrender, the grief, the letting go - it's all in service of recognising what we already are. Our natural state isn't something to achieve; it's what remains when we stop trying to be someone.
If you'd like to continue this work, I'm here to support your journey. Please feel free to reach out with any insights or questions that come up.
With love and gratitude,
Stefi
